Emergency Cancellation Policy

Frequently Asked Questions

There may be occasions when, due to unforeseen circumstances, The Perfume Studio Limited may be forced to cancel a public fragrance class or private fragrance event.

Possible reasons for closure could be (but not limited to):

Where the Products have been purchased for commercial, business or resale purposes, we have no liability, howsoever arising, in respect of any express or implied condition, warranty or term, statement, representation whether statutory or otherwise, relating to the goods supplied. The buyer accepts that he is best placed to insure against losses which arise by virtue of any breach of this agreement and warrants that he carries adequate insurance in this respect.

• Inclement weather such as; heavy snow, flooding or strong winds.

• Stylist illness, leading to a lack of trained personnel able to take a fragrance masterclass class.

• Venue safety or supplier problems with the location, utility supply or surrounding area resulting in concerns over a safe environment for both guests and employees (please note every effort is made to locate an alternative venue.)

• The outbreak of contagious disease leading to forced cancellation of the class to stop cross-contamination.

Should there be a need cancel a class prior to the start of a session (due to unforeseen circumstances) we will endeavour to contact all guests by phone and/or email, as early as possible to advise them of the cancellation. If our employees are unable to contact all the guests, where possible (and if appropriate) they will arrange for a notice to be displayed outside the premises or a member of the team will be present at the venue to inform the guests.

In the case of an emergency closure during a class session, the staff will ensure the complete safety of guests in the class by following the correct procedures for that building.

In both circumstances, we will attempt to contact the guests on the next working day in order to establish the next steps which may include alternative locations, dates and times for class to be completed.

Very rarely, we or our suppliers may be forced by Force Majeure to change or cancel part or all of your Experience. If this does happen then we regret that we will be unable to provide any refunds pay you any compensation or meet any losses or expenses you or any guest(s) incur as a result. We will try to assist you to secure alternative arrangements but you will have to pay any associated and/or additional costs in doing so and arising out of the alternative arrangements.
