Course Overview

The Perfume Studio is pleased to introduce you to its brand new Fragrance Workshop now available in colleges nationwide. Despite being a multi-billion pound market, fragrance is not as widely taught in the industry as other beauty services so this is the perfect opportunity to further your or your student’s knowledge and skills within the beauty industry.

Open to all levels of students, The Perfume Studio 3-hour course gives an overview of perfume history, how fragrances are constructed and the essential oils that are used in The Perfume Studio’s unique blends.

The day begins with background on bespoke fragrance and the construction of fragrances. To keep the course interactive and fun, students will be given the opportunity to smell some raw ingredients that go into some well-known fragrances available on the high street.

Learners will then be given two high street fragrances and in groups asked to identify some of the ingredients that go into these fragrances. This gives an appreciation of ingredients.

A detailed demonstration of The Perfume Studio consultation will then follow, with key ingredients covered. Students will be taught the importance of Top, Middle, and Base notes within fragrance as they learn about The Perfume Studio blends. After the demonstration students will practice by doing their very own unique fragrance.

Blending of the fragrance is then demonstrated and explained. Each learner will blend their own fragrance to and take it away with them at the end of the session.

Students will also be given the opportunity to buy a specially priced Perfume Studio Starter Kit on the day.

Certificate of Training

Upon the satisfactory completion of a short test at the end of the workshop, a certificate will be issued as evidence of proficiency. This will then allow students the opportunity to practice within a beauty salon or become a Fragrance Ambassador.

The Perfume Studio Fragrance Workshop certificate can be used in student’s development portfolio or any other academic project and qualification they may be working toward. Students will also receive the opportunity to purchase The Perfume Studio products at discounted rates on the day.
