Last year we celebrated our 30,000th bespoke fragrance, River Goddess!

Nothing says ‘Romance’ like your very own bridal fragrance, which is exactly what our 30,000th creation was.

Lara McDonald, now Woodhouse created ‘River Goddess’ for her wedding day and will now treasure her bespoke fragrance forever and the emotion it evokes every time she wears it.

We caught up with Lara after her wedding to find out more about what inspired her unique fragrance, our amazing 30,000th creation, on her gorgeous wedding day.

Lara’s unique fragrance was developed at her Hen Party, which was organised as a complete surprise by her hen’s. Alongside all her best friends, Lara created “River Goddess,” which was to be her wedding day perfume and has since become her signature scent.

“Originally I wanted to call it ‘Mrs Woodhouse’, But then thought this is the perfect opportunity to use 'River Goddess', Lara is the Daughter of the River God, Almo.”

We can’t tell you the exact blends Lara chose (without giving away Lara’s unique blend) but we can tell you that River Goddess features our new blend Gourmand. Gourmand is a recent addition to our blends family, welcomed in early 2016. Lara’s scent has a sweet, yet fruity aroma that blends delicately with fresh floral notes and precious woods.

“Every time I wear this, I’m reminded of the best day of my life. It takes me back to so many amazing memories, from creating it with my bridesmaids to walking down the isle, and saying - I do. Andrew loves it, and I’ll treasure it forever.”
